Last year, Appin Land consulted with local people on plans to create a new development near Bobbing, providing much-needed new homes, jobs, shops and pubs, a primary school and medical centre, and extensive open space.
The team are now working to finalise the plans. Before submitting a planning application to Swale Borough Council, we want to hear your thoughts.
You can explore the plans here, including the presentation from the consultation events.
? What are you proposing?
? Are your proposals a done deal or can changes to reflect local opinion still be made?
? Are these plans simply going to concrete over large swathes of the countryside?
? Are these proposals green?
? Will this be a gated community or will the facilities be open to everyone?
? How many of the homes will be affordable?
? Will there be parking?
? Will employment space be provided in the proposals?
? How many of the homes will be wheelchair accessible?
? Who makes the decision on the application?
? When will the application be submitted to the council and when will the decision be made?
? When will construction start?
? Will construction be noisy?
? Will the proposals be ‘Secured by Design’?
? What will the development be called?
? How will the road network cope with this development?
? How will vehicles interact with the existing highway network?
? Will there be new shops?
? Is this the last opportunity to comment on the proposals?
? I am unable to make the online Q&A sessions. Will there be an opportunity to view them at a later date?
? Are there any other ways I can have my say on the proposals?
